The Acrylight is an acrylic enclosure that houses 5mm high intensity leds. Acrylight is moisture and weather resistant and comes in lengths from 2 1/8" to 72". The Acrylight strip has numerous indoor applications and can be used outdoor as well. It produces exceptional brightness and low current draw. Applications include restaurants, night clubs, wine cellars, under cabinets, theater rooms, wash lighting on walls, accent and mood lighting, signs, decks, hallways, emergency lighting and much more.
The Acrylight strip is stocked in 1/2" on center led spacing to achieve the highest quality light output and an even linear light spread. It's also available in a 1 inch spacing for cost effective lower light applications. The Acrylight strip is designed with a clear light enhancing top lens for maximum light distribution and ribbed side walls for a beautiful glow-off added touch. The ends are blocked and are also used for mounting the strips via countersunk holes and flat head screws (included). It's overall size is .875"H x .875"W x length. These led strips are available in longer runs of interconnecting lengths (Acrylight Quick Connects) up to 30 ft. and cornering by special order.
The Acrylight strip utilizes the 40 degree 5 mm white led and each pre-set at 6000 mcd (luminous intensity) for best performance and ambient light. Combined light output per one inch is 4.2 cd or 12 watts (incandescent equivalent) based on .5 inch O/C spacing. Combined light output per 1 foot section is 35 watts/450-540 lumens (incandescent equivalence based on unidirectional linear spread of unobstructed light output). Acrylight is also available in an even brighter version utilizing the 20 degree white led pre-set at 18,000 mcd and produces a higher flux and intensity of light for lighting larger areas or for a brighter focal lighting.
