The MW1205 12VDC 500mAmp Power Supply is for small lighting projects of up to 1/2 amp or 5 watts. It is designed with low ripple for use specifically with LED lighting products. General uses range from trophy lighting, hutches, entertainment center lighting, small displays, small cabinets and many more.
The design intent of the MW1205 is to extend the life and quality of high brightness leds while offering plug and play, easy install and economical value.
The MW1205 safe extended play area is six feet (supplied cord) from the supply at 500mA. However, the MW1205 is designed to reach greater distances at lower current / wattage values. The following chart displays the maximum distance vs. load that can be utilized by this supply. Failure to comply will cause the supply to shut itself down due to overload and heat build up.
