As a 6-volt xenon tactical light system, UX201 produces 70 lumens of powerful white light collimated by our proprietary reflector designed for focusing the light generated into a smooth intensified light beam. The light beam is pre-focused at the factory for maximal center intensity in achieving the greatest distance. The lamp assembly is completely isolated from the rest of the light while the batteries are compartmentalized to provide UX201 with excellent performance against weapon recoil. The "flaming heat-sink" design of the head ensures adequate heat dissipation for thermal management of the xenon bulb in lengthening its bulb life and optimizing its performance. As part of the U-Series, UX201 is a turnkey solution to configuring a standard M4/M16 variants rifles with a tactical light system without the installation of quad rail system. The UX201 includes a two-piece front sight rail for securing on the front sight of a M4/M16 variant rifle and tightened with an Allen wrench. This provides two short segments of the rail. One of the two rails is designed for attaching the thumb screw mount of the light. The other rail on the opposite side can be used for attaching other accessories such as our Z1 Laser Sight. This setup completely frees up the foreend hand-guard for supporting the firearm where the remote pressure pad can be positioned.
